Collection of Personal Information and GDPR

The company under the name City Buzz, based in Athens, 6 Saxtouri street, Ilioupolis, 16342, Athens, Greece with VAT No 800946725 as Responsible for the Processing of Personal Data under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, wherever applicable, provides the following information on the processing of Personal Data carried out by it, in the framework of its activities and the rights of clients as processors.

The company, in compliance with the current legal framework, has taken all the necessary actions by implementing the appropriate technical and organizational measures for the lawful maintenance, processing and safe storage of the personal data file, committed to ensuring and protecting with each the processing of personal data from loss or leakage, alteration, transmission or otherwise unlawful processing thereof.

The collection and processing of personal data is necessary for the commencement, execution and maintenance of the company’s business. Any objection to the provision or processing of personal data may lead to the inability to start and continue the cooperation with the company City Buzz at any time, withdraw consent, without prejudice to the legitimacy of the processing based on it until the revocation.

Any request in respect of personal data and the exercise of passengers’ rights must be addressed in writing to Mr. G. Liartis, designated as Data Protection Officer (DPO)

“Personal information” means information about you by which you could be identified either directly or indirectly and whether provided by you or by third parties. You may choose to provide personal information to us in a number of ways, such as when you register on our Site, participate in an offer or promotion, or when you make a purchase on our Sites. We may collect the following types of personal information from our members and guests:

  • Contact information (such as name, address, city, state, ZIP/postal code, email address and telephone number)
  • Consumer preferences
  • Demographic information (such as age range, date of birth, and gender)

Any information collected for contests, sweepstakes, surveys, polls, consumer complaints, or consumer transactions may be used for any other purpose listed in this policy.

Comment: If “sensitive personal data” such as personal data relating to race, ethnic origin, religious beliefs, weights and physical or mental health or in relation to an offence is being collected and used, then you will generally need the explicit consent of the data subject in relation to the processing of such data.

Use of Personal Information

ACB may collect, maintain, and use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • Individual Accounts: Your information is used to open, maintain, administer, and service your user profile, account or membership.
  • Services and Support: ACB will use your information to respond to your inquiries or comments; to provide the Services (such as our chartered flights or our Aerial Photography Flights, etc.); to provide support for the Services (such as processing transactions and customer service), including contacting you when necessary; troubleshooting issues with the Site or Services; and to analyse and improve the Site, including tailoring it to your preferences.
  • Analysis and Improvement: We may use your information to analyse and improve our products, the Services, or our Site, including developing new products and services; improving safety; managing our communications; analysing our products; performing market research; performing data analytics; and performing accounting, auditing, and other internal functions.
  • Marketing and Advertising: We may use your information to market and advertise similar products and services. We may also send you offers on behalf of selected affiliates in relation to similar products and services. If you no longer wish to receive any of our marketing and advertising communications, you may opt out at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in our emails.
  • Other Uses: ACB may use your information to comply with laws, regulations or other legal requests; to defend our legal rights; or to maintain the security and integrity of our systems.

By submitting your personal information to us, you consent to our collection and use of your personal information for the purposes set out above.

Sharing and storage of Personal Information

We may disclose your personal information to third parties who help us with our Services, such as service providers or suppliers, and with business partners, such as third-party charter operators, so they can deliver the products and services that you have requested from us. On occasion, our business partners may also offer you additional products and services that may be of interest to you. Apart from the purposes listed in this Privacy Policy, ACB will not share information about you with other third parties for their independent use without your permission.

Your information will be stored in ACB databases (including local storage), affiliated company databases, or databases managed by third party service providers, which are located within and outside of Greece. Such data will be automatically transferred to these databases, which may be located in countries where privacy rules differ and may be less stringent than those of the country in which you reside. By continuing to use our services and Site, you consent to the transfers and storage of your personal information outside the country in which you are located, including to countries where under their local laws you may have fewer legal rights. If you visit our Site from a country in the United States, you consent to such cross-border transfers of personal data to the European Union.

ACB’s Commitment to Data Security

ACB has all security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. While we make every effort to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent attempts to illegally obtain this information.

Voluntary Surveys / Online Forms

We may periodically conduct both business and individual surveys. We encourage members to participate in these voluntary surveys because they provide us with important information that helps us improve the types of services we offer and how we provide them to you. Your personal information and responses will remain confidential, even if the survey is conducted by a third-party.

We take the information we receive from individuals responding to our surveys and combine (or aggregate) it with the responses of other members to create broader, generic responses to the survey questions (such as gender, age, residence, hobbies, education, employment, industry sector, or other demographic information). We then use the aggregated information to improve the quality of our services to you, and to develop new services and products. This aggregated, non-personally identifying information may be shared with third-party partners.

If you submit an online form to receive further information about our Services, the information you submit will be used to contact you to provide relevant communications about our products and Services. This communication may be facilitated by a third party.

Social Media Platforms

Our Site may embed plugs-ins, widgets or other apps of various social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and YouTube. An example of such a plug-in is Facebook’s “Like” button. When you encounter those embedded objects, your internet browser may make a direct connection to the social media platform’s service and may share with the social media platforms information such as that you have visited our Site. Our Site may also be made available through third party social media platforms.

ACB may have a presence on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Your participation with the services provided on social media platforms is voluntary. If you login to such services through an account you have with a third party social media platform, we may receive additional information from that other source such as your user name, stated location, date of birth, and interactions you have had on that third party social media platform. The personal information we may have access to would vary by social media platform and is controlled by privacy settings on that platform and your choices. Your use of services on third party social media platforms are governed by the privacy statement and other terms of use for that third party social media platform, until such information is shared with us, and then such information is also subject to this Privacy Policy.

Our Sites may contain links to other third-party websites. ACB is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any other websites to which the Sites link, each of which may have data collection, storage, and use practices and policies that differ materially from this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policy for each such third-party website. We may link to a third-party website to conduct a background check for purposes of your registration. Information you provide to this third party and information the third party uncovers during the course of any background check is governed by the privacy statement and other terms of use for that third party. ACB will also retain a copy of the information the third party uncovers during the course of its background check, and then such information is also subject to this Privacy Policy.


Due to the nature of our Services, ACB may collect information-including personal information-about children under the age of 18 (from a parent or legal guardian) as required for travel or as otherwise necessary for ACB to provide the Services. ACB may share this information with third parties when necessary to comply with aviation regulations or security regulations or for safety or security reasons, or as necessary for ACB to provide transportation to a child under 18.

ACB does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information online directly from children under the age of 18.

If you learn that your child has provided us with personal information online without your knowledge, you may contact us via the “Contact Us” section below and ask us to delete this information from our records.

How to Access, Update and Correct Personal Information

You may review and change the information listed in your account at any time, by logging in to the Member Portal through our homepage. You may also contact us via the “Contact Us ” section below to request that your personal information be corrected or updated. We will use reasonable efforts to comply with your request.

If you receive marketing communications from us, you may contact us via the “Contact Us” section below to change your marketing preferences. In addition, each marketing communication we send by email will also have an “unsubscribe” option which will allow you to stop us from sending you further marketing emails.

You may request for a copy of any personal information about you held by us. The request must be in writing and must contain details which will help us to locate the information you are requesting. We will require evidence from you to enable us to verify your identity.
